For a law-abiding citizen such as myself, I would never run a red light, I would never THINK about passing someone up, much less with a diesel truck approaching at optimum speed on the otherside, and I would NEVER dream of driving in Peru. Sure, I've been known to speed a bit from Point A to Point B, but before you judge I invite you to join me in the thrill-seeking life of a Motorcar driver...
This is a motorcar. The front resembles a typical motorcycle and the back is like a carriage. While these may seem charming and perfectly harmless, they are at the heart of Peru madness! Just like in the states, there is a yellow line that separates the two sides of the road; however, in Peru this line might as well be invisible, seeing as how most spend their time in the middle of the road...
Or on the other side entirely...
More than once have I come face to face with a diesel, and may I remind you... I'M IN A PLASTIC CARRIAGE!
There's even an official sign to plead with fathers to slow down! If I don't die from a diesel running me over, a heart attack might do it!
i'd rather not run into the DIEsel. sank you!!
ReplyDeleteso not what i pictured. motorcycle + covering? such an odd thing.
